WHAT'S INCLUDED?

Each Health Assessment includes quality time with an experienced doctor to discuss how you may enhance your lifestyle, and of course, with our health assessment you receive the peace of mind of getting a better understanding of your health.
  • History

    A detailed and full history will be taken by an experienced GP. We will discuss your past medical history, current medications and relevant family history. This will allow us to tailor the health check to your needs. Each medical, in our opinion, should be tailored to you as an individual.

  • Examination

    A full examination will be carried out by an experienced GP as part of the health screen. 


    This will focus on trying to find any asymptomatic abnormalities such as heart murmurs, abdominal masses and neurological signs which may go un-noticed.


    The GP will carry out an examination which will include:


    cardiovascular (heart)

    respiratory (lung)

    gastro-enterology (abdominal)

    neurological (brain and nerves)

    musculo-skeletal 

    ENT (ear, nose and throat)systems.


    Further examinations may also be carried out which are gender specific including pelvic, genetalia and breast. These will be discussed during the health check.

  • Bed Side Tests

    As part of all health screens, bed side tests will be carried out including:


    Height

    Weight 

    BMI

    Urine test (checking for signs of infection, protein and blood)

    Vision Assessment

    Blood sugar (indicative of diabetes)

    ECG ( heart tracing)

    Peak Flow Test (test of lung function)


    Other tests may be appropriate and will be discusssed during the health check.

  • Blood Tests

    As part of the full health screen, we are able to offer all of the above with blood tests including


    FBC (Full blood count) - looking for signs of anaemia and the function of the body's immune system.

    U&E - looking at your kidney fuction and the salts (Sodium and Potassium) in the blood.

    LFT - looking into the fuctioning of your liver - we will look at 5 markers to assess any signs of damage.

    Lipid Profile - this includes a full Cholesterol profile allowing a risk assessment of good and bad cholesterol and fats.

    Glucose - looking for Diabetes.

    Vitamins - B, Folate, D, Iron - looking for common deficiencies which can cause a wide array of symptoms.

    TFT - looking at the functioning of your thyroid gland.  


    Additional blood tests ( including cancer markers) and investigations are available and will be discussed during the medical.

  • Bespoke Tests

    Dr Raj has access to all blood tests (including Cancer markers) and investigations (including MRI scan). This allows a bespoke screening suitable for your specific requirements.

IMPROVE & MAINTAIN

We’ll give you advice based on your consultation and assessment results, then share with you some recommendations for changes in your lifestyle.

Following your health check you will have quick access to further diagnostic tests and treatment should this be required. After your health assessments you will receive a detailed report so you have a record of all your results.
